At Georgia Integrative Vet Care, our mission is to provide the highest quality veterinary care for your beloved pets. We are dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of your animals through alternative and integrative approaches.
Experience matters
After graduating from the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001, Dr Horne pursued general practice for 12 years. She felt that something was missing from her practice and decided to pursue her passion in alternative treatment.
Acupuncture
In 2012 Dr Horne began the challenge of learning Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine through the International Veterinary Acupucture Sofiery. A passion for helping dogs with different Neurological disorders, like IVDD and GOLPP, was born from the consistent results of treatment with Acupuncture.
Spinal Manipulation
2015 brought the addition of Spinal Manipulation, or Animal Chiropractic, to Dr Horne’s therapy modality training. She received her training and certification through Options for Animals in Kansas.
Pain Management
Controlling pain through multiple modalities results in the best overall pain control. Combining Acupuncture and Spinal Manipulation with oral supplements and medication, plus alternative treatments like PEMF results in the most comfortable outcomes for our furry family members.
